Geraldina Colotti was born in Ventimiglia in 1956. She was an activist in the Red Brigades, and for this reason is now serving a 27-year prison sentence. Now in semi-liberty, she collaborates as an editor of the cultural section of the newspaper “Il Manifesto”. She has been a goalkeeper on football and judoka teams, and in her free time she plays the piano, writes calambours, does kick-boxing, and writes poems, stories and novels for adults and children. She has published two collections of poems, the prose collection Per caso ho ucciso la noia (Voland), the novel Il segreto (Mondadori) and the collection of mainly autobiographical stories Certificato di esistenza in vita (Bompiani).
