I seamstress
lowly
my caste invisible
unknown
Again
I seamstress
of remnants lost by wanderers
in the thick of the forest
letting fall through restless fingers
crumbs of self
to be known
in my rainbow garments
Again
I Icarus
curious master in the shop
on the island hidden among petals
of the rose of winds
I paste
with tree-sap and sea-water
feathers of birds that pass
from one horizon to another
letting fall
crumbs of self
to be found again
on the island hidden by petals
of the rose of winds
Again
I (ex)communicated surgeon
with supreme, uncertain skill
now make the sweetsharp wound
I cut
skin
tiny hole wedging in
the feather from afar
ferocious, subtle graft
seeping new-born
into the earthly creature
to
flight
