lyrical sighs

rosana crispim da costa

my body composes
crystalline verses
warm saliva
exploring the rigid senses of excitement
feet soothed in damp soil
tongue between dry lips
hands caressing the wood’s breast
chest that breathes heavenly clouds
lowered stomach concave and careless
pupils closed in imagination’s
lyrical sighs
last note
lyrical sighs
